Eddy Chibu

Country Manager, Kenya

Eddy is Business for Development’s Country Manager in Kenya. His key responsibility is to transform the lives of rural communities by using a participatory approaches and empower smallholder farmers throughout the agricultural value chain.

 

Eddy has more that twelve years’ experience working with both the Kenyan Government and Kwale County Government at senior administrative positions. He graduated with a degree in business Information Technology and he is currently writing his thesis for his Masters in Governance and Leadership.

How does Eddy want to make a difference?

“To positively influence smallholder farmers’ mind set the need of sustainable participation and their full involvement in the entire crop value chain with a sole purpose of food security and economic empowerment.”
